In memory of Leslie Anthony HARRIS E.M.I.D10148 HMS Osprey DRO who died 11th June 1970 aged 19 years


In ever loving memory of Thomas STURMEY the devoted husband and father who passed away March 20th 1944 aged 47 years. Also of his wife Fanny who passed away Oct 3rd 1990 aged 87 years,


Mary YOUNG who died May 11th 1890 aged 85 years


In affectionate remembrance of George YOUNG who died at Bloxworth April 2nd 1873 aged 72 years


in loving memory of Bertha Ann the beloved daughter of C & M TRIM who died July 8th 1901 aged 15 years. Also of Mary the beloved wife of Charles TRIM who died October 13th 1939 aged 78 years. Also of Charles TRIM who died Feb 6th 1957 aged 94 years.


Sacred to the memory of the Reverend Humphrey EVANS Twenty Years Rector of this Parish who departed this Life November 8th 1813 aged 53 years. Also in loving remebrance of Elizabeth Wife of the above who died at Swindon Wilts Dec 1827 and was buried at Lydiard Tregoze aged 62 years.


In Loving memory of Augusta Jemima the wife of F.W. PAULLEY who died March 8th 1910 aged 57 years. Also of Frederick William PAULLEY who passed away Feb 1st 1917 aged 65 years.


In Memory of the Rev Cecil Edward PALMER Rector of this Parish 1891-1902


To the memory of John EVERY late of Cothay in ye County of Somerset Esq Deceased. He was the sonne and heire of John EVERY late of this Parish Esq deceased and Anne his wife deceased daughter and heire of George WILLIAMS deceased younger sonne of Sir John WILLIAMS late of Herringstone in the County of Dorset Knight deceased. He marryed Elizabeth second daughter of Thomas TRENCHARD late of Woolreton in ye said County of Dorset Esq deceased and died without issue the 8th day of July 1679 and having only two sisters (to wit) Anne the wife of John LEIGH of Northcourte in the Isle of Wight and County of Southton Esq, his eldest sister and Dame Barbara HENLEY the wife of Sir Robert HENLEY of the Grange in the said County of Southton Knight. His younger sister setled the paternall estate lyeing in the severall countyes of Somerset Dorset & Devon on the eldest sonnes & heires of the said Anne and Dame Barbara his said sisters,


The gates to the churchyard were given to the glory of God and in memory of Horace Bentley DEBENHAM also of Rosa Evelyn his wife. They dwelt at The Manor 1924-1956 and loved Glanvilles Wootton & Holnest.
