This is the Last Will and Testament of me Mark ANSTY of Hazelbury Brian, in the County of Dorset, Yeoman.

First, I Will and direct that all my just debts, funeral testamentary expense be paid and satisfied by my Executor hereinafter named.

I give, devise and bequeath unto John GODWIN of Hazelbury Brian, aforesaid Gentleman, all that my cottage or dwelling house, garden and premises situate in the parish of Hazelbury Brian aforesaid, in a certain lane called Coney Lane and now in the possession of William CROCKER to hold the same unto the said John GODWIN, his heirs and assigns forever but subject nevertheless to the payment of the sum of fifteen pounds and the costs and charges which I may be put unto in prosecuting an action of -- (and now in --) to recover possession of the said premises.

I give and bequeath unto my nephew Mark LOCK of Plush in the parish of Buckland Newton in the County of Dorset, Labourer, my second best feather bed and all that belongs to it.

All the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever whether the same -- of goods, monies or securities for money, sum and sums of money due and owing to me, household goods, plate, linen, china, books and furniture of what description soever, the same may be unto my son Mark ANSTY his heirs and assigns forever.

And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint the said Mark LOCK, sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof, I the said Mark ANSTY the Testator, have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.

Signed, sealed and delivered by the said Mark ANSTY (the Testator) as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other, at his request, have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

On the 23rd day of June 1824, the written Will of Mark ANSTY late of the parish of Hazlebury Bryan, Yeoman deceased, was proved by the oath of Mark LOCK of Plush within the parish of Buckland Newton, in the County of Dorset, Labourer, sole Executor therein named, to whom Administration of all and singular, the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted, he being first duly sworn upon the Holy Evangelists, well and faithfully to administer the same to exhibit a true and perfect inventory thereof into the Registry of the Court of the Bishop of Bristol and render a just account thereof when thereto lawfully required and that the whole of the goods, chattles and credits of which the said deceased died possessed, do not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds.
