Marble and alabaster plaque on west wall:
 TO THE MEMORY OF CLEMENT HENRY PETO
CAPTAIN 10TH ROYAL HUSSARS BORN 8TH JULY 1884 KILLED IN THE FIRST BATTLE OF YPRES 17TH NOVEMBER 1914 BURIED IN YPRES CEMETERY
HE BRIGHTENED AND CHEERED THE LIVES OF ALL WHO KNEW HIM

HAYMAN
whose ashes are buried nearby

who lived here 1956 – 91
and is buried at Brampton

ONLY SON OF
HENRY AND DOROTHY COMPTON
OF MAPPERTON HOUSE.
HE DIED ON NOVEMBER 21 1923
AGED 24 YEARS.
“HE IS NOT DEAD BUT SLEEPETH.”

THIS MEMORIAL IS PLACED HERE BY THEIR ONLY CHILD
THEY REST IN THE CHURCHYARD AT MINSTEAD, HANTS

The Rev THOMAS FOX 28 years Rector of the Parish
and one of his Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for this County
who died Jan 31 1793 aged 77
Also of
The Rev THOMAS FOX son of the above
34 years Rector of this Parish who died Feb 14 1820 aged 73
And ELIZABETH his Wife who died November 3 1814 aged 65
CHARLOTTE their daughter died March 9 1808 aged 20
Their remains are deposited in a vault at the west end of this Church
