Will of William CRIBB of Wareham, Dorset

This is the last Will and Testament of me William CRIBB of Wareham in the County of Dorset Baker made this sixth Day of August in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and fifty one as follows that is to say

ffirst I will that my Debts and ffuneral Expences be in the first place paid and discharged

I give unto Philip CRIBB son of my late Brother Philip CRIBB the Sum of five Pounds And I do moreover forgive him the said Philip CRIBB all such Sum and Sums of Money as he shall owe to me on Bill Bond or otherwise at the time of my decease and I do hereby Will and direct that my Executor herein after named shall deliver up unto the said Philip CRIBB unto the said Philip CRIBB his Heirs Executors or Administrators all such Bills Bonds or other Securitys as I shall have against him or them at the time of my decease cancelled within six Months after my death without any reward it being my Will that the same be hereby discharged

Also I give unto Robert CRIBB John CRIBB and Peter CRIBB sons of him the said Philip CRIBB ten pounds each to be paid with them severally by my Executors herein after named when they shall  be respectively bound Apprentices But in case they or either of them shall not be bound Apprentice then my Will is that the Legacy or Legacys hereby given to such of them as shall not be bound Apprentice shall be paid to him or them when he or they shall respectively attain the Age of one and twenty Years and not before

Also I give unto Robert CRIBB another son of my said Brother Philip CRIBB and to his Heirs for ever All that my Messuage or Tenement and Garden with the Hereditaments and Appurtenances thereto belonging situate and being on the East Side of a Lane called Church Lane in Wareham aforesaid which I purchased of Walter PARMINTER

Also I give unto the said Robert CRIBB Son of my said Brother Philip CRIBB the Sum of five pounds and I do moreover forgive him the said Robert CRIBB all such Sum or Sums of Money as he shall owe to me on Bill Bond or otherwise at the time of my decease and I do hereby will and direct that my Executor hereinafter named shall deliver up unto the said Robert CRIBB his Heirs Executors and Administrators all such Bills Bonds and other Securitys as I shall have against him at the time of my death cancelled within six Months after my decease without any reward it being my Will that the same be hereby discharged

Also I give and devise unto George COMPTON son of my late Sister ffrances COMPTON and to his Heirs for ever all that my Piece or Parcel of Meadow Ground with its Appurtenances lying and being in a Meadow called Portland Mead near the Common of and belonging to Wareham aforesaid.  Also I give unto the said George COMPTON my Watch

Also I give and devise all other Lands Tenements and Hereditaments (not already settled by Deed and not herein before devised and given) unto William CRIBB another Son of my said Brother Philip CRIBB and his Heirs for ever and I do hereby will and direct that the several Sums of Money and Legacys by me hereby given or intended to be given (Except such as are hereby before directed to be paid) shall be paid and delivered by my Executor herein after named within six Months after my decease and all the rest and residue of my personal Estate Goods and Chattels I give and bequeath unto the said William CRIBB son of my said Brother Philip CRIBB and do hereby make and constitute him the said William CRIBB son of my said Brother Philip CRIBB Executor of this my last Will and Testament

And I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Day and Year above written
