Harry Bagg 1895 - 1915

Harry Bagg Harry Bagg (inset small picture). Born in 1895 in Winfrith son of Charles Bagg (b. Toller Pocorum, 1851-1922) and Alice Julia Luca (b. East burton 1865).

The last postcard sent to his mother, back (top) and front (ship). His medal
roll card shows him as presumed dead - meaning his body was probably never recovered.

His name is on the Helles Memorial in Turkey, died Gallipoli, August 21, 1915. the postcard was written to his mother about 6 weeks before.

The large black and white photograph is of the family in Winfrith outside their home, number 21 High Street.

The little girl with the bike is Edith born 1898, next to her is her mother Alice, father Charles and on the right is Mabel born 1889. They also had another son Charles who surciced the war.
