The whole of the buildings are of a substatial character the greater part having been erected by the late proprietor about 20 years since. They occupy a frontage of about 215 feet and are capable of much extension.

The Manufactory contains ample room and conveinience with the requisite Machinery for carrying on an extensive business in the Manufacture of Woollen goods. The Machinery is of the best description, in excellent working condition, and may, with the standing and going gear be taken at a valuation by the purchaser.

The Water-wheels in the Mill are breast shut, and command a force of from 40 to 50 horse power and were erected about nine years since on the most approved principle and at a great expense.

The property is most desirably situated adjoining the Southampton and Dorchester Railway and possesses advantages rarely to be met with having in addition to the facility for the transit of goods the entire command of the stream there called the River Frome which affords a never failing supply of water.

The Mill Pond is also very capacious extending a considerable distance on the stream.

The Premises afford a great facility for conversion at a trifling expense into Corn and Flour Mills for which they were formerly used and are most eligibly situate being in the midst of a large Corn growing country in the neighbourhood of excellent markets and commanding a supply of water estimated to be sufficient to work ten pairs of stones on an average thoughout the year.
