Levi Bowering and Charlotte [nee Cox] - possibly their marriage.
Levi was born at Woodsford 1849 and died in a tragic accident in 1903 whilst working at Newton Manor, Swanage. Charlotte was the daughter of William Cox and Mary [nee Collier]. She lived from1843 - 1933. Her sister Mary Elizabeth married James Haysom, son of Moses.

Emily Bowering born 19 Sep 1880 - taken in 1893.
She was a dressmaker by trade.

Sister of Emily - Mary Elizabeth Bowering b.1875 known as Polly
She was married to Frederick Charles Smith Bradford b.1873 in Langton Matravers.

Charles William Bowering born 29 Mar 1878.
He died 28 Nov 1918 on active service in WW1.

The photo was taken by George Cox, local photographer and cousin of Emily Bowering in the garden of Flora Cottage.

Children seated are L-R; William Bryant, Ted Bowering, Lucy Bowering daughter of Albert and Emma who drowned shortly after 1911 in the Millpond, unknown, Elsie Bowering daughter of Albert and Emma. The little lady looking between Charlotte and Emily is Bett Dennis a great friend of Emily Bowering. Top right are a pair of Simpkins' and the rest are assorted Cox family.
