The little church of St Francis is under the shelter of a huge yew tree of unknown age

The church from the west end showing the small bell tower

The interior with a view to the chancel.

The font is small and simple and is believed to date from the Norman period, it is lead lined with a square bowl.

Chest tomb bearing an inscription to William GOARE who died in 1660

Some old cottages near the church, the sign points to Lower Frome Vauchurch

This view of the Frome Valley is taken from the high road between Frome Vauchurch and Toller Porcorum, it is looking in the direction of Frome Vauchurch which is down in the valley beyond the trees.

An early postcard of Frome Vauchurch Rectory, it is postmarked 1908.

We hope you enjoyed these photographs, further contributions are always welcome, whether village views, landscapes, monumental stones or old photos of previous residents of the parish.
